Sacred Touch Massage

Disclaimer and Agreements

In order for these massages to be possible, participants need to understand and agree to several conditions. Please read carefully, sign, and return.

The purpose of this workshop is to encourage safe, non-erotic touch between participants in a controlled environment. All touch is voluntary and optional.

It is understood that during this workshop, you will be massaged by other participants, not by professionals. The facilitators are not licenced massage therapists and do not give professional massage. The techniques you will be shown are simple techniques in touch, not therapeutic massage, and the quality is solely dependent on the other participants in your group.

You are responsible for your experience during this workshop. The facilitators commit to doing their best to create and maintain a safe atmosphere. You commit to taking care of yourself, and speaking up if something is uncomfortable or undesirable to you. You are responsible for using common sense and good judgment at all times. If you have deep traumatic issues around your body, such as sexual abuse, you are responsible for knowing your limits and not allowing yourself to go past them. The ultimate responsibility for your well being and safety lies with you.

During this workshop, there is to be no sexual touch, including any touching of the genitals or any form of sexual stimulation. It is also understood that when you massage someone else, you will respect any limitations they state as to where and how they want to be touched, and immediately respond to any requests to stop what you are doing. Any breaking of these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the group without refund.

It is understood that participants may be unclothed, partially or totally, during this workshop. Nudity is never required, and participants can do what are comfortable for them. Nudity is not an invitation for sexual or romantic interest, but is an expression of the beauty and sacredness of the body.

The facilitators will attempt to have balanced-gender groups of four; however, there is no guarantee of the gender of the people who will be in your group, nor the exact number. Unless participants state a particular requirement when they register, it will be assumed that no one will decline touch from someone else because of gender.

Please sign and date below, and bring with you to the workshop.
